🇬🇧 Quantum computing with cold atoms. A case study
Jun 13, 2023 — 09:15 am - 10:00 AM
Analog quantum computing is a prime candidate to highlight near-term benefits of the technology, while waiting for the Noisy Intermediate Scale Quantum (NISQ)-era to mature into its fault tolerant evulotion. Despite the necessity to manipulate qubits on a primary level makes the learning curve even steeper than that of the digital, gate-based quantum machines. Join us for this masterclass session as we deepdive into the neutral atom quantum machine of PASQAL to learn what makes such a machine tick, and take the first steps in manipulating quantum information on an analog machine via the open source toolset of Pulser. Showcasing Pulser Studio, a graphical learning and experimentation tool developed specifically for such instances, we will focus on how such a computer can be used to address hard combinatorial problems present in all walks of life.
